Rati Rati

Yah karena penasaran dengan bolunya yang katanya sangat lembut, jadilah saya mencoba. Tempatnya tidak luas tapi dalam. Saat datang sudah hampir jam 9 jadi sudah agak sepi. Saya mencoba banana roll cakenya dengan harga 38k++. Kalau makan ditempat dapet free ice cream. Menurut saya roll cakenya biasa aja, bahkan sedikit over priced. Rasanya memang tidak terlalu manis jadi tidak bikin eneg. Tapi selebihnya ya seperti bolu chiffon saja. Dibilang lembut sekali juga tidak. Malah menurut saya yang lebih layak dicoba adalah banana omelettenya. Ini semacam roti isi pisang & cream pisang. nah kalau yang ini SANGAT LEMBUT, enaakk sekali. Modelnya memang seperti untuk makan takeaway, jadi mungkin itu sebabnya kue satu ini mungkin off-menu dan lebih jarang kedengeran. Ya overall mungkin akan ada yang suka ada yang tidak, bagi saya sendiri rasanya sangat biasa, tapi banana omelettenya layak dicoba dan recommended!

Duduk-duduk sambil menikmati roll cake di Rati-Rati tuh emang nikmat banget. Salah satu Roll Cake mereka yang paling enak adalah Ange Blueberry Roll yang harganya cuma 32k aja. Dijamin deh Roll cake mereka bisa nemenin nongkrong sekaligus bikin kenyang perut.

A great place for sweet tooths and dessert connoisseur alike. Rati Rati is a small, cute dessert shop in bustling PIK area, offering cloud-soft Japanese roll cakes in many variants. The interior will easily gain the love from the ladies, with a macaron tower and flowery decorations. The name 'rati rati' itself means 'love' in Sanskrit, and I don't think it'll be hard to love those rolls of deliciousness. You might want to spend some time in front of the display cabinets, where army of roll cakes in different flavours and colours await to be picked. For the ones who like to play it safe, the plain roll can be a good option. It's vanilla roll cake with vanilla cream in the middle. The cake is so unbelievably soft, and the cream isn't too sweet for me. Every order of roll cake will be flanked with a scoop of ice cream (your choice of flavour) and some crispy flakes. For those who like it a bit fancier, Kardinal Chocolate is a recommendation from me. The soft cake sandwiches luscious chocolate cream, which is so chocolatey. Unless you are a chocolate maniac, go with the vanilla ice cream to avoid chocolate overload. Some people have argue that their roll cakes are too sweet, but if you think so, you can always ask for a glass of water to wash the sugar.
