Kaihomaru

Restoran ini dikenal menyajikan beragam sajian tradisional Jepang yang dikurasi sangat baik, baik dari segi bahan baku maupun teknik pengolahannya. Cobaih deh Chirashi Sushi yang menggunakan irisan daging tuna impor dari Jepang, di mana tidak digulung seperti lazimnya, melainkan ditaruh di dalam mangkuk nasi. Jangan lupa juga untuk mencicipi Takarubune Mori, yang merupakan sashimi segar terdiri dari tiga jenis irisan tuna (lean, medium, dan fatty, scallops, dan teur ikan. Sempurna!

Citywalk Sudirman memiliki banyak restoran Jepang autentik karena di sekitar mall ini, terdapat banyak gedung perkantoran yang berisikan kantor-kantor Jepang. Salah satu tenant yang menyajikan makanan khas Jepang, tepatnya sushi adalah Kaihomaru. Kaihomaru tak hanya menyediakan sushi dan sashimi yang diolah dari bahan baku yang segar, juga sering menjadi tempat bagi para ekspat untuk melepas penat di sake bar yang terletak di salah satu sisi restoran ini. Nikmati Nigiri Sushi (98K) yang berisikan potongan-potongan ikan segar diatas sushi rice yang pulen dan Assorted Sashimi mulai dari 148k. Kalau lagi ramai-ramai, jangan ragu untuk memesan Kaihomaru Mori (685K) yang terdiri dari 7 jenis sashimi, termasuk otoro, hamachi, dan salmon!

As far as quality goes, nothing really to complain about. Fresh, we’ll-portioned cuts of salmon and otoro (as they should be at this price-point!), with handmade wasabi along with a few tufts of shredded veggies. The fried baby soft-shell crab didn’t quite resemble the tasty menu pic, but nevertheless was enjoyable. Miso soup was definitely a bit too salty. Most disappointing aspect of dining here was the restaurant itself. Really uncomfortable chairs and drab decor. High-end prices without high-end ambience :(

Kaihomaru adalah restoran Jepang yang terkenal di Citywalk Sudirman. Selain memiliki chef dari Jepang, Kaihomaru juga mendekorasi interiornya sebagaimanarupa sehingga pengunjung merasa benar-benar berada di Jepang. Resto ini menyajikan tradisional sushi roll dan beragam sajian sashimi segar. 

Came here for a quick lunch and ordered the salmon don. Was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the fish and the quality of the sushi rice. Will definitely come back again just for this dish.

Di Kaihomaru kamu bisa pesan umi mori yang isinya semua hasil laut terbaik dan segar. Dengan makan menu ini, Qraved bisa jamin kebutuhan nutrisimu akan terpenuhi. Hmm.. solusi tepat untuk mencegah virus zika, kan?

The biggest tempura I ever ate. The salmon rice looks tempting too. Prices was a bit expensive but worth it. Worth to try!

Sashimi melted easily in my mouth. The texture is soft and you can't smell the fish like some sushi-resto. This is the best authentic japanese restaurant so far. For the ambience, this resto is decorated like regular sushi house and most of the costumer in this resto is Japanese people. The price is a bit pricey but its worth it. When I'm craving for sashimi, this is the best place to go.

Kaihomaru teishoku is really good in quality. A bit on the pricy side of 250ribu but good value

This is a good affordable Japanese which serves up fresh sashimi as well as generally wel prepared assortment of Japanese food. Prefer it to the more commercialized/ localized places. The express set lunch for less than 100k IDR is very affordable however a bit on the small side. However can't go wrong coming here for a quick and healthy lunch!
